Iran to launch wagon production unit in Syria

TEHRAN – Wagon Pars Company plans to open a wagon production factory in Syria, the company’s managing direct said here on Saturday.
The Moj News Agency quoted Gholam-Reza Razzazi as saying that, “the unit is projected to annually produce 300 cargo wagons and will have 50 repair lines for passenger wagons.”According to Razzazi once the factory comes on stream 640 direct job opportunities will be created.
Wagon Pars Company, the Middle East’s largest producer of rail products, annually produces 1,500 cargo train wagons, 40 locomotives, and 250 passenger and metro train wagons
